i’ve decided that doc martens may not be right for me for a couple of reasons; they’re very “of the moment” right now, though they have been a classic shoe for years, but i don’t think that they would be extremely flattering with my ‘shapely’ calves. trends are a fun differentiation from the norm, but it is important to have some staples. rather, i have moved on and fallen in love with virgie.

the shape is similar, but the straps and zippers would look great undone and hanging loose. i have lots of shoes in my closet, but i sincerely feel that you can never have enough black leather boots.
