in addition to tons of satin being shown on the runways for this fall season, shades of mustard, canary, and pale yellow have lingered. my mother always told me that orange, yellow, and green were unwearable and unflattering, but i love a challenge. worn properly, yellow is an amazing accent color. if you’re scared to jump into the pool, let’s take some baby steps. add a sheer scarf or simple tie, or perhaps a t-shirt/polo underneath a neutral sweater. i certainly don’t suggest dressing like a lemon.
